Ginger helps prevent cancer, high blood pressure, Alzheimer, immune system weakness, inflammation, diabetes. Ginger is a powerful agent against several forms of cancer, as hundreds of papers show. Recently, a paper came out showing that 6-shogaol, present in ginger, was found to be effective against cancer spheroid cancer cells at concentrations 10000+ times smaller than those of taxol, a chemotherapy drug. Even at concentrations 10000 times higher than ginger ingredient, taxol was ineffective against those cancer cells.
