Should we avoid rice if a diabetic?Rest of the days menu. I didn’t like so much water in her rice she admitted that she did not have rice in our country that was obvious.

Should we avoid rice if a diabetic?
No, just make the next meal not so much carbs and balance out the Rest of the days menu. You can add in a lot of butter here too.
I didn’t care so much water in her rice she Admittedly did not have rice in her country that was obvious. “Beat Diabetes”
There are foods that are going to spike our blood sugar we just need to know how to get them down if they’re to spite you can’t avoid eating food. If I had this rice I’d watch the carbs rest of the day but I don’t have rice that often. You could be very fad and overdo groups of foods.
But because of this I add brown rice to my diet once in three months or something like that🌮
They have a real good video on tacos I learned a lot from this he has a taco that by the time you add the carbs there’s only about 3 g of carbohydrates. That taco is at Walmart and you got to read the directions because it says five tacos have this many carbs in it you’re only going to eat one I did not know that
I need to read my labels better how many carbs and how many tacos does that entail?🌮

He also has an excellent one that got me started with him on pancakes I missed pancakes so much he has one that is so good it uses almond or coconut flour or both it’s very good I will testify to that👳‍♀️

PEANUT BUTTER AND BREAD PERFECT; PROTEIN

Lentils such as: Peanut butter and bread make a complete protein.  100 g of peanut butter has 25 g of protein, 100 g of beef has 22 g of protein.  Most people need 30-60 g daily depending on weight. There are so many sources of protein.  One of the best complete proteins is lentils, as you get minimum fat  and lentils can be cooked in 20 minutes using a cheap Walmart pressure cooker or, on the top of stove.

If you want to become a vegan, lentils are one of the best sources of fiber, energy and protein.  When we eat cooked lentils 2-3 times a day in portions of 150-300 g, we get 40-80 grams of protein with all 9 essential aminoacids we need each day even if we are an athlete.  We also get 36-72 g of fiber a day, more than most people get from all their foods. Most adults need 40-60 g of protein a day.  We also need about 70 g of fiber for best prevention of diabetes, digestive tract issues, colon cancer and heart disease.  Lentils have almost no sugars, lots of fiber that regulates blood sugar, cholesterol.  They have the lowest level of phytic acid among beans, nuts, grains and legumes, the lowest oxalate level (20 times lower than spinach) among legumes, nuts and grains.
Soaking lentils for 10 hours in hot (60 centigrade) filtered water is a good idea, as it removes 90% of the phytic acid known to cause problems.  Eating processed foods means eating a lot of phytic acid, since they don't soak grains/soy before making breads, tofu, etc.  Phytic acid can cause mineral deficiencies.  You can use a pressure cooker (they got those at Walmart for $80), it takes 20-30 minutes after soaking to cook them, that way you just press a button and it stops by itself.

A popular myth has been as such:  "to get complete protein you need to eat rice and beans or rice and lentils, if you eat only lentils you are screwed".  The myth means that "if you eat 100 g of cooked lentils and 100 g of cooked rice you get higher protein quality (more of the essential 9 aminoacids) than if you eat 200 g of cooked lentils".  Below I will prove this is totally false and a total aberration.
Let us look at the science data now.  100 g of cooked lentils and 100 g of cooked rice contain the following amounts of the 9 essential aminoacids, according to

http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/cereal-grains-and-pasta/5712/2

http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/legumes-and-legume-products/4338/2:

COOKED LENTILS VERSUS COOKED RICE

1.  Methionine ► 77mg/100g lentils vs 63mg/100g rice
2.  Valine ► 448mg/100g lentils vs 164mg/100g rice
3.  Histidine ► 254mg/100g lentils vs 63mg/100g rice
4. Tryptophan ► 81mg/100g lentils  vs 31mg/100g  rice
5. Leucine ►  *654mg/100g lentils vs 222mg/100g rice*
6.  Isoleucine ► 390mg/100g lentils vs 116mg/100g rice
7.  Threonine ► 323mg/100g lentils vs 96mg/100g rice
8.  Lysine ► 630mg/100g lentils vs 97mg/100g rice
9.  Phenylalanine ► 445mg/100g lentils vs 144mg/100g rice

As science tells us in the 9 lines above, eating 200 g of cooked lentils provides you with a far more complete protein than eating 100 g of lentils and 100 g of rice.  Eating rice is not needed for vegans or vegetarians, since you don't normally soak it, get loaded with phytic acid, get far less fiber and far less protein.  The world should cultivate more lentils and fewer grains and beans.  Why?  Because grains and beans are harder to digest (some grains are as easy to digest as lentils) and have 3-5 times more phytic acid.

Even when you look at 6 other aminoacids, that are sometimes harder to make by the body in certain sick people, lentils beat rice:

1.  tyrosine ► 241mg/100 g lentils vs 90mg/100 g rice
2.  arginine ► 697mg/100g lentils vs 224mg/100g rice
3.  proline ► 377mg/100g lentils vs 127mg/100g rice
4.  glycine ► 367mg/100g lentils vs 122mg/100g rice
5.  cysteine ► 118mg/100g lentils vs 55mg/100g rice
6. glutamine ► 1399mg/100 g lentils vs 524mg/100g rice

Eating just 1 pound of cooked lentils  spread at 2-3 meals will provide you with 45 g of protein.  Add tomatoes, cucumbers, spinach, carrots, etc and you get a lot of healthy nutrition, all the fat, protein and complex carbs needed without sugar overload you get when eating sweet fruits.   Lentils have far more fiber than most fruits and veggies we eat without the simple sugars fruits and veggies have.

Just so you know, as you can see at the same website, aminoacid score of lentils, 86, is higher than milk, 85 ( http://nutritiondata.self.com/facts/dairy-and-egg-products/69/2 ), so another myth is busted.  As you may have read in other articles, some say 77 mg methionine is a little low, but if you eat 3 portions of 300 g of lentils, that's still a huge 700 mg a day from lentils alone.  However, Eating foods low in methionine helps to extend lifespan in rodent test subjects, according to a study published in a 2009 issue of “Medical Hypotheses.” Reduction of methionine dietary intake from 0.86 percent to 0.17 percent increased the life span of rat test subjects by 30 percent, according to a study published in a 1993 issue of “The Journal of Nutrition.”

People in Uganda, before the western diet came along, didn't have any heart disease http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/13375489 - one case found only in 1956 in a guy who started eating junk food), none at all and were known worldwide for that - and they ate 80 g or more of fiber from whole plant sources, more than the other countries.  Once the junk diet rich in meat, eggs and cheese came along, with zero fiber and lots of animal fat shown to trigger diabetes that speeds up heart disease, heart disease became the number one killer - which shows our so called "progress" is often really stagnation, replacing one disease with another.

Instead of choosing a cheaper, easier diet of whole plant foods, we spend trillions of pills to lower our blood pressure and use 160 times more land to grow cattle and 200 times more water too.  It's just mind boggling.  The stone age didn't end because of a shortage of stones, nor does the meat age need to end because of a shortage of meat.

OATMEAL, no flour cookies

This is my signature cookies recipe. I wanted more oatmeal and no flour, taste good and healthy.

I finely found this recipe. In my other blog on this post alone I had about 2,600 hit before I turn it off "ShermsOrganicNews."

#No-Flour, Oatmeal Cookie (gluten, flour free/ allergies free if you use organic)
This is a no flour complex very high in fiber adaptable breakfast or a great pick me up snack recipe. Make this the best organic whole oatmeal cookies ever. So much better than the ones from from health food stores that have preservatives in them.

Also; you could substitute some of the organic whole oats to whole-wheat flakes or other grains when you get use to doing this recipe as is first. It's made a bit different. (Coconut, organic peanut butter and chocolate chip, carob and etc can be added in after, first, making it from the original recipe with tweets to your likings. This makes up a big batch for large families (freeze). You may prefer to ½ the recipe making smaller batches.

You will need baking paper, or two very good cookie sheet pans that will not brown the bottoms. They have to cool down in the pan, or slide off using your paper after being cool down a bit. The other pan will keep you baking while your first batch cools. They are delicate at this stage, depending on how long they are baked. As they can harden up and become crisp (which I like in this cookie. If not take them out a bit early) Note. to be a good cookie maker don't leave the kitchen, have a timer, and take them out a bit early to let them cook on top in their cookie sheet. (my style)

My neighbors use to come to my house to get this cookie. I use to always have it on hand but then my daughter moved and I don't bake them much. It was her favorite cookie recipe.
I've taken a (Google image: oatmeal cookies,) I have no camera.  (If you spread about 1/4 thickness in a Pyrex baking dish  in the form of a loose hay-stacks with a lg ice cream scoop...or, you can make breakfast bars.)
If you use choc. chips don't add into the mix in you gal. jar letting the oil and oats and sugar macerate in but mix, or press them in just before baking.
It may be a good recipe to store and pass onto your next generation.
However, you may not want to share these gems. LOL

BEST Oatmeal Cookies (no flour) This originally came from the Seventh Day Adventist Magazine long ago, but this has been rendition/adaptions. The original had too much sugar. Always taste the dough to see if it sweet enough on all recipes. This had added in one more cup of sugar.
INGREDIENTS:
4 cups organically grown whole grain oats is best
1 or 1-3/4 cups dark brown sugar (or, to taste)
1 cup of pressed sunflower (or safflower oil ...it's the Tonalin CLA oil...) or, any Mono oil (even light olive oil.) Coconut oil? (no honey, it softens the cookie to much for me)
SET ASIDE IN : Let the above three ingredients needs to sit/stand for eight hours A must! in a gallon jar or big Tupperware bowl i.e. in
.......................................................................................
Next day... mix the following together.
2 well beaten organic eggs -to hold them together
½ teaspoon sea salt (high in magnesium, and less use of salt)
2 teaspoons almond extract
1-cup nuts (slivered or chopped almonds? -nut meat) I used slivered almonds
Use the smallest ice cream scoop (1/8') for dropping these "haystack" looking oats mounds on a cooking sheet and round together the edges where it will brown too much.
...............

Bake for about 10 minutes or, longer if you desire crispier cookies. They need to be first baked (abt 10 minutes at 350) and then cooled down; right on cookie sheets before removing them or they will break apart and the cookie will crumble.

Be patience they're well worth the wait. Some like these crispy, other prefer them medium. Also they will naturally crisp up in storage. (Half the recipe if its too much) They will not go to waste!
...................

Do not sub "diet sugars or high fructose types of sugars" I've done honey too...hu  mmmm ... don't care for the moist cookie effect. If you use a substitute for the egg, put it with the oats jar.
It's the egg and sugar that holds these together,

These cookies have to be soaked with the oil (olive oil works too); baked them but first cool them down then, remove from baking paper. This does the trick. You actually can use any oil, I prefer the mono-s (I know I am repeating, but some things need to be emphasized for a this style of cooked.

.....................
This is another way to use any left-over's
**GRANOLA: Layer the mixture out on size of your lined baking paper or wax paper lined cookie sheet, (unless, you have pans that don't burn cookies on the bottoms) Then, slowly baking them at 250 for 40 minutes.
Or for a more crunchy bites up to 1 hr. depending on tray size, thickness and depends your oven temperature. The easiest way is just to crunch up the left-over cookies in milk, works great too. (Add in other ingredients, raisins, coconut etc as you get more proficient when using this recipe a lot...which I did .) They are so easy to make...
*Melt coconut oil or butter and use for the replacement of the safflower oil.

Peanut butter Cookies (no flour)

Try this no flour cake too made with coconut or almond flour (angel food cake)

What and How to Feed Poor Kids

EAST LANSING, Mich. (AP) — President Barack Obama on Friday signed into law an agriculture spending bill while trimming the food stamp program. Conservatives remain unhappy with the bill and its generous new subsidies for interests ranging from Southern peanut growers and Midwest corn farmers to the Northeast maple syrup industry.
HOUSTON (AP) — A volunteer at a Houston-area elementary school who noticed some students were getting a smaller lunch of cold cheese sandwiches is digging into his own pocket to cover delinquent meal accounts so every child can get the same full lunch tray.
The Senate and House have now both passed the farm bill, and President Obama was expected to sign it into law this week. This five-year bill, with wide-reaching domestic and international implications, includes key international food aid reforms. These reforms will enable U.S. food aid to go further -- at no additional cost. Hundreds of thousands of additional children and families suffering from hunger and malnutrition worldwide will be reached as a result.
Note: So they take away food stamps from the same family hunger problems. Does this make sense. A bit of truth and hedging the lies. Is it no wonder this will get worse?
http://www.huffingtonpost.com/katie-lee/the-farm-bill-internation_b_4733249.html However, more food abroad. Then why don't we send the Mexicans back to Mexico and send them some of this food.
HUNGER IS AN WORLD WIDE EPIDEMIC, LETS PUT SOME STOPS INTO PLAY BEFORE IT GETS EVEN WORSE. WHO'S YOUR NEIGHBOR?...AND IT GOES OUT TO ALL NATIONS.
These children's hunger is now used by the government as PONDS to lead in for their own ear marked bills (all of them are sneaky and corrupted with greed. Why would the government want to add the farm bill to a bill beside getting some good old fashion blackmail going (...if you do this, we'll do that or nothing. A manipulative presentation? Read the whole bill. I heard it on a news show that wasn't main stream. It went to fast for me to get all of it, but I did get the gest of their wickedness.
Scums of the earth: These examples are some of the worst child abuse I've witness by educated folks who's suppose to care for your children.
If they control farmers crops, giving them a free ride to what they will not produce they control commodity's market, other stocks and its moneys. Who presented the corrosive bill to try to pass it; its time for public to get back, remember who they are then vote them out. These are the very elite who would kill the dogs, destroy the environment, maim and destroy anything that got in their way. These will use children, professing to be Christian for your vote (Name dropping the words of Christ but lacking any faith to their wrongs, while pointing their finger in the wrong directions to throw you off to what's really up.)

School Tossed Kids' Lunches in Trash Over Money Owed - ABC News UTAH has done the same becoming the same problem of professing Christianity while throwing away children into their dirty bath water. This state has the most children in over-crowded school's. Most are taught to have as many kids as they can yatta, yatta, yatta, but that doctrine seem stop their charity when goes in feeding  all oft hem. Oh, well it all who you interpret their scriptures.
These abusive educators should be fired. What else are they doing and capable of doing to Ut. Kids. The middle lower class can do nothing. This is something the children who were involve will remember for the rest of their earth days. Some of them who are accepting of these grown-up behaviors will mock them as beaten children in abused home pass on.

The State that's guilty of tossing out the school lunches  is Utah and the rest of the news on this subject of hungry children. I noted on the ads to the (World Series) as they wanted you to send in donations to these children at risk. We've only use the ads to advertise how much charity we have, but actually show no sacrifice's but really speaks well for our hypocrisies.

THIS HUNGER IS A WORLD WIDE EPIDEMIC, PUT SOME STOPS INTO PLAY BEFORE IT GETS WORSE. WHO'S YOUR NEIGHBOR...GOES OUT TO ALL NATIONS? Africa has plenty of oil and so do their neighbors some other nations are guilty too. America has no money except for bribing all; its people for votes and other countries for oil, stocks, gold, sciences i.e.
Obama-farm-bill passed (UpDate) of counterdictions This bill give many farms or company's subsidies then sent money aboard to the needy in the same bill.

HOUSTON (AP) — A volunteer at a Houston-area elementary school who noticed some students were getting a smaller lunches, an apple or cold cheese sandwiches is digging into his own pocket to cover delinquent meal accounts so every child can get the same full lunch tray.
Many school are giving hot lunches to the paying family's children while giving an apple and cold sandwiches in a sack lunch to the poor
, it varies from district to state i.e.. I wonder if they can escape outside? This is happening all over our country as Obama takes food stamps aways (see links)

What is the PTA doing about this? What to do
How about peanut butter sandwiches for those not allergic to nuts and what about the left-over the lady's in the cafeteria throws away, or suppose to. I worked in Junior high lunches in the cafeteria. I know what they do with extra food. In Utah they are told to throw it away and don't take anything home. Taxpayers may complain and some may empty the kitchen.

These idea's are not addressing the humiliation's. I experienced in OK as my parents followed the crops. I took my lunch in a Lard bucket, couldn't afford sacks, and I was so embarrassed. No the kids were not bully's as they are today, but I saw their faces and read their eyes which I avoided.
