Side Effects or Warnings of Consuming Excessive Green Tea
Black, green, and oolong tea are all derived from the leaves of the Camellia sinensis plant. Fresh leaves from the plant are steamed to produce green tea, while the leaves of oolong and black tea involve fermentation.
Originally cultivated in East Asia, Camellia sinensis grows as large as a tree or shrub. Today, this plant grows throughout Asia and parts of Africa and the Middle East.
Green Tea Side Effects
Liver problems – there have been some case reports of liver problems in people taking concentrated green tea extracts. The active ingredients in the tea are a class of compounds called catechins. Catechins target mitochondria, the powerhouses of your cells, and prevent them from being able to help your body metabolize nutrients and turn it into energy, which can lead to hepatitis, jaundice, or liver failure.
Contains caffeine – one cup of tea contains around 24 to 45 mg of caffeine. Too much caffeine can cause the following side effects: nervousness, headache, vomiting, sleep problems, diarrhea, irregular heartbeat, heartburn, irritability, tremor, ringing in the ears, dizziness, convulsions or confusion. Caffeine overdose is possible, with symptoms of abdominal spasms, headache, nausea, and vomiting. It also has a diuretic effect, so you eliminate more fluids through your urine and may become dehydrated.
Contains tannin – this substance is found in any tea that contains leaves from the Camellia Sinensis plant, which means most rooibos and herbal teas don’t have it. Consumption of tannins slows the absorption of important minerals, such as calcium and zinc. In addition, tannins may interfere with the absorption of nonheme iron, which is the type of iron found in plant-based foods. If your iron level is low, you may want to talk to your healthcare specialist about your tannin intake if you’re a big tea drinker.
During pregnancy and lactation – green tea contains catechins, caffeine, and tannic acids. All three compounds have been associated with pregnancy risks. No more than two cups of green tea should be consumed during this time. Completely avoiding this type of tea would be the best option. Caffeine is also a compound that crosses the placenta, and the latest studies suggest that it may decrease blood flow to the developing baby. Additionally, because it’s a diuretic, caffeine consumption can cause the body to release more water than usual. This means you’ll be urinating more than you already are. For lactating women, the caffeine in the tea can pass into the breast milk and affect the nursing infant.
Iron absorption – the catechins present in green tea decreases the absorption of iron from food, which may ultimately lead to anemia. Studies have shown that excessive consumption of this tea may reduce absorption by up to 25%.
Osteoporosis – it is a condition characterized by a decrease in the density of bone structure, decreasing its strength and resulting in fragile bones. Women are 4 times more likely than men to develop this condition because of a decrease in their estrogen levels after menopause in conjunction with lighter and thinner bones. Drinking tea can increase the quantity of calcium that is commonly flushed out inside urine, leading to calcium deficiency.
Digestive problems – the tannins present in the leaves can cause constipation and nausea by producing more gastric acid. Also, the caffeine content in the tea can harm your stomach and intestines by irritating their linings.
Anticoagulant drugs – this tea contains small amounts of vitamin K (approximately 0.03 micrograms per 100 gr of brewed tea), which can make anticoagulant drugs, such as warfarin, less effective.
Chemotherapy – the combination of tea and chemotherapy medications, particularly tamoxifen and doxorubicin, increased the effectiveness of these medications in laboratory tests. However, the same results have not been found in studies on people. On the other hand, there have been reports of both black and green tea extracts affecting a gene in prostate cancer cells that can make them less sensitive to chemotherapy drugs. For that reason, people should talk to their physician before drinking tea or taking tea extracts while undergoing chemotherapy.
Long-term consumption may give rise to problems such as headaches, insomnia, hypertension, restlessness, annoyance, abnormal heartbeat, loss of appetite, spasms, constipation, irritability, and acute addiction to caffeine. Furthermore, green tea consumption can make anxiety worse. So, individuals with anxiety disorders must stay away from it.
Conclusion
In most cases, 1 or 2 cups a day isn’t cause for worry, but if you’re supplementing your 4 coffees a day with double the herbal tea, you may be entering an unhealthy territory.

The more you know about Borax and its miracles the more you'll want to know.
I make my own non-toxic all-purpose cleaner. If using recipe: Borax and you'll need bit of orange extract, 4 1/2 cups of water,1/4 cup white cleaning vinegar, and a spray bottle.
Mold: 2 cups water to Tbs of Tree Tea Oil in spay bottle for showers or wherever mold builds.

A comment on Borax: I wash my clothes with Borax, as recommended by Dr. Hulda Clark, and I run the used water out onto my garden.
I have two nectarine trees, both the same age. One gets the Borax water, the other does not.
The tree that gets Borax is twice the size of the tree that does not, and it keeps its leaves on for a couple of months longer.
And yet, the tree that does not get Borax is the only one that has produced fruit, so far.
They are young trees (two years), so I'm looking forward to the next years' harvest.

HomeMade Wild Yam Cream, estrogens
Continuation of this site: http://welltellme.com/discuss/index.php?topic=2315.0 make your own wild yam creams . It's a place to start: so the his site maybe very helpful. The towel doesn't have to be thick, just a barrier between the jar and the crockpot. I have an older crock pot that is deeper that my larger one. A quart jar will stand up with just enough room above it for the lid.

After the 3 days, I strained it. Then I let it cool and didn't make the salve/cream until the next day because I didn't have time. For the cream, I used approximately 1 TBS of wax to slightly less that 1/2 cup of oil. It was much too solid. I tend to not measure very accurately, I just sort of mix things up. I'm trying to be more consistent. I have a recipe for a cold cream that I use often which has a nice consistency. Here is what I am going to do with the next batch:
1/4 cup distilled water
1/8 teaspoon borax powder
1/2 cup olive oil (I will use the Wild Yam/oil mixture)
2 TBS beeswax.
Dissolve the borax in the water in a glass measuring cup. Mix the oil and beeswax in another glass measuring cup and place in a pan of water. Heat it until the beeswax is melted, stirring occasionally. Then put the borax/water in the microwave for about 1 minute. Remove the oil/wax from the stove and slowly add the water mixture to it. Stir briskly, or whip in a blender. The blender makes a nicer consistency, but it messier.
I'm not sure about the conversions from canner to crock pot. I'm not sure I would use this for actual food recipes. Rebekah had stated that you can do the wild yam in the pressure canner for 30 minutes on 10 pounds of pressure. I decided to try the 3 days with the crock pot because my canner is too big to haul out for just one jar. Hopefully someone will have other info to offer.

How to make wild yam cream at home? Recipes and Tips
http://b4tea.blogspot.com/2014/01/how-to-make-wild-yam-cream-at-home.html
You can prepare your own wild yam cream with just few ingredients. Check out some simple recipes here to make wild yam cream at home. Yams aren’t just delicious, they are healthy too. Not many people know that this delicious root vegetable is being used for ages for treatment of various ailments. Yam cream, often referred to as wild yam cream, is considered as the best natural remedy for premenstrual, menstrual, and menopausal symptoms in women. Not just women, this cream is equally beneficial for men; it is being marketed today as an alternative medicine cream to treat erectile dysfunction and to increase male libido
Nowadays, wild yam creams are readily available in most health food and drug stores.
However, the problem is that some of these creams contain synthetic progesterone in them. Absorbing such man-made progesterone in high concentrations could result in some side effects, like constipation, fatigue and irritability and in rare cases, fainting, blurred vision, difficulty in breathing, and swelling of the throat. That’s why, it is highly recommended to go for home-made wild yam cream. Yes, you can prepare your own wild yam cream at home that too with just few ingredients. Two simple recipes of home-made wild yam cream are given below. Follow one of them and make a rich & beneficial wild yam cream naturally at home.
Recipe 1:
Ingredients:
Preparation:
Add distilled water and the diced yam root into the stock pot and boil them for about forty minutes. Now, with the help of a wooden or plastic spoon, stir and smash the yam cubes. But do not smash them completely. Leave most of the cubes in a solid state so as to avoid soaking up all of the water. The simmering water will gradually break down the wild yam cubes, and then a thin, foamy layer of “fat” will begin to form at the top of the boiling mixture. Next, skim off the layer of fat from the surface using a spoon, and then drop the foamy substance into the big glass bowl. Reserve about half cup of yam water and dispose off the leftover stuff from the pot. The wild yam fat in the bowl would start shrinking as it cools down. This means, what appears to be a lot actually isn’t, and so take as much of the fat from the surface of the water as you can.
Next, add half cup of beeswax beads to the bowl of hot yam fat, and stir them as the beads starts to melt. If necessary, microwave the mixture on high temperature for about twenty seconds to help the beads melt faster. Once the beads melt completely, introduce the stearic acid powder to the bowl of yam fat and stir the mixture vigorously either for at least three minutes or until a thick foam forms. After that, gradually add small amounts of the reserved yam water until you get the desired thickness.
Use: Cover the bowl with a plastic wrap and let the cream cool, until it reaches room temperature. Now, gently massage the orange-colored cream into the soft, sensitive parts of your skin. By following the above mentioned recipe, you’ll get enough wild yam cream to last approximately 6 months, if you use the cream once every 14 days. You can also add about 3 tsp of vitamin E oil to this cream to keep it preserved. Just spoon it out into airtight jars. The cream will probably last a year, if stored in a cool, dark place.
Hormones: Progesterone
Recipe 2:
Ingredients:
Soak some yam roots in water. Make sure the roots must soak up all the water with none left standing. Put them in a quart jar until the jar is half full with roots. And then cover it with oil or lard or whatever fat you prefer. Afterwards, pressure cook the stuff at 10 pounds for about thirty minutes. Simply cool and strain off the fat. Now, you can use this fat to make cream with any of the cream recipe.
