HEALINGS: CABBAGE SOUPS (for weight)

Healing Powers of  Cabbage Soup and, Cabbage Roll Soup
  • (time to prepare)           
  • Cook or, less if you like

Healing Cabbage Soup
Add potatoes or/and white beans for more fiber

Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons olive oil  (coconut)
  • 1/2 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, chopped
  • 2 quarts water
  • 4 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules  or, left  over chicken bones works for medicine                         
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, or to taste
  • 1/2 head cabbage, cored and coarsely chopped
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can Italian-style stewed tomatoes, drained and diced

Directions

  1. In a large stockpot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Stir in onion and garlic; cook until onion is transparent, about 5 minutes.
  2. Stir in water, bouillon (STOCK), salt, and pepper. Bring to a boil, then stir in cabbage. Simmer until cabbage wilts, about 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in tomatoes. Return to a boil, then simmer 15 to 30 minutes, stirring often.
  4. ( Save chicken bones by freezing them for this receipt and other soups)or, use broth that have no chemicals.)

RICE AND A BEET SALAD, AND COLE SLAW

3 Salads For a "Cleanse" and weight
My daughter Sarah goes on liver cleanses every spring with these three salad recipes. They are very good so I’m passing them on from her.
Beets are a good spring tonic to begin the spring-cleaning of our bodies. I eat beet if I have a cold/flu also.


Beet Salad with Apples and Carrots
3 medium cooked beets (sliced and diced)
1 large apple (Golden Delicious or Granny Smith)
3 carrots
half fresh lime
2 tbs. coconut oil (I use flax oil or olive) Coconut oil kill fungi's
1 dash of cayenne pepper
Half tsp. agave or stevia
1 head of romaine lettuce
1 head of red leaf lettuce
(Add raisins or figs too if you like) I even put some raw sunflower seeds too.
Directions: Grate the carrots and apples. Steam the beets for 1 min and then run
Put under icy water for 3 minutes to prevent overcooking.
Slice, then dice and mix them together.


Standard Cole Slaw3 cups grated cabbage
1 cup grated carrots
1 cup diced Granny Smith or Gala apple
Half cup chopped almonds
Half cup chopped sunflower seeds
Half-cup raisins
Half cup red bell pepper (this taste amazing)
Mix together and add your favorite dressing of choice. (blu cheese light) (or, some vegenaise and
A little bit of flax seed oil.)
This recipe isn't as cleansing as the other two but still very good for you. You
Could balance the more acidic rice with some green or read leaf lettuce.

Lose Weight by Eating Pooh

 Skinny people's gut has these microbes. They've seen the results in identical twin, (One was over-weight with a no gut bacteria. The skinny one guts bacteria was transplanted into the over-weight twin and she lost all her weight.) They've repeated the study in mice with the same results.


 (Fecal transplantation is not a completely new therapy and has been used to treat recurrent cases of Clostridium difficile infection of the intestines)
Want to lose some weight? Should you eat some poop..actually someone else’s poop? That’s what researchers at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) will be testing in a clinical trial this year when they take fecal samples from lean people and give them in 1-2 gram capsules to obese individuals. Now you may think that just the thought of eating poop (or scientifically speaking feces) may make you lose weight. But that’s not the mechanism that Elaine W. Yu, MD, an endocrinologist at MGH and her team, will be testing. Their trial is based on growing evidence that the gut microbiome (the city of bacteria and other microorganisms in your intestines) may have something to do with your weight, health, and obesity.
The rationale behind the study is that leaner people may have different types of microorganisms living in their intestines and that transferring these bacteria to obese individuals via freeze dried poop (er…feces) may help the latter lose weight.
So, are poop pills a potential obesity prevention method or treatment ? Or is this idea just full of…(well, you know what)? Studies have suggested that altering the gut micro biome can lead to obesity. This includes studies that have found obese individuals to have less diverse types of bacteria in their microbiome. (Turns out just as in the human population, diversity may good in the intestinal bacteria population.) Studies have also found that things that make the gut microbiome less diverse are associated with obesity, such as high fat, low fiber, and high refined carbohydrate diets. Don't take antibiotics that kill many bacteria species in your intestines and allow fewer species to dominate. Additionally, fecal transplants (i..e, moving poop from one individual to another) have shown promise in reducing weight in mice.

PHONY PRODUCTS IN VITAMINE SUPPLIMENTS


Phony herb, and vitamin supplement's are a big racket, and the ingredient you thought was in is not even there. Maybe that's why it isn't working. BUYER BEWARE:
At least one major retailer pulled products from the shelves today after New York State Attorney General Eric Schneiderman said GNC, Target, Wal-Mart and Walgreens sell store brand supplements that do not contain the ingredients they advertise. The investigation found that four out of every five products tested didn’t include the ingredients mentioned on the label.

This is essentially an honor system.  Testing the store brands of some major chains that sell in cities and towns all over our state and all over the country, and we were surprised to see that only 21 percent of the products had any trace at all of what they were supposed to be selling.

Like echinacea, ginseng, things that are popular herbal supplements. And in the overwhelming majority of cases, there was no trace of the product that was purportedly being sold. So we have written cease-and-desist letters to these four chains. Some of them are pulling the products, just the lot numbers we tested off the shelves. They are going to explain their system for quality control. I've heard on the net that inspectors came in and closed shops down. Now, I'm wondering the other side of the story.

So it’s a combination of not selling what you’re supposed to be selling and selling people things that are fillers or other plant species that could cause public health issues. Why buy?

In my cooking classes I learned how to use dates instead of sugar. You could use powdered stevia and etc.
 Try this one. When taking cooking classes from the seventh Day Adventist Church in our area, I learned how to prepare food differently which I enjoyed. I loved their class and recipes. They have a book I purchased, when taking the class that I gave to my vegetarian daughter Sarah. I recommend it highly. It had a great banana date pie in it using only dates that was unbelievable.

Apple Date Cookies
1 Cup dates
1/2 Cup. raisins
...Enough water to just cover above ingredients.
3 peeled, cored and chopped apples
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon or apple pie spices or cardamom
2 Tbs. oil
2 Tbs Ground flaxseed flour, instead of egg (Optional)
1 cup coconut, ribbon (optional, but coconut does make them sweeter.) or, just the date sugar?
1 1/2 c. quick oats
Mix well, Drop spoonful's on cookie sheet and press out with hands. Bake at 350 for abt. 20 min. or until firm but moist.

Sherm's Secrets to Easier Weight Loss

I've lost 30 pounds; here is some collections and revisions of my recipe to weight and blood sugars.  One, this is mostly about snacks as in (keeping a bag of popcorn in a big baggy ready to snack on in the evenings or whenever hungry. I must emphasis that these food groups need to be as natural inside the food, as the oil i.e. as possible and, chose the less chemicals sprayed, and salt too. Corn chips and bean dip is excellent for adding fiber that will takes out calories. The diet I've made up for my body, and it consists of only 3 food groups, used each meal and with two snacks. Don't mess with its balances of protein, fiber and natural fats in the food or this diet may not work. (Protein/Fiber, fats and with lots water/lemon as beverage; it's that simple.) I will add more tips from time to time and, check back.  Very small amount of sugars and no protein shakes that's formulated incorrectly for this diet.

PLAN SNACKS: But on my diet there is no need to count calories. Keep a can of three bean salad with the sugar rinse off then more olive or, sesame oil. Keep healthy snacks in the fridge at all times. Snack might be a variety of some kind of salads that lasts for the whole day, or any cut and cleaned fresh veggie in a baggy ready to eat.

 Don't forget your celery, carrots or sliced apples; do a bag of peeled apples, squirt abt Tbs of lemon with pinch of apple pie spices (or not? Vary the same snack so you don't get bored or burned out.) If need be purchase a apple corer bagging the ready to eat cut-up fruits/veg., pears, apples then baggy then in your fridge or just buy them at the store. (...peeled or not?)
Here's my real secret to weight loss that's finely working.
 1. Protein: Balance in every meal or snack a must have protein. (One animal protein, if you must! a day, use other vegetarian beans, or, eggs, cheese i.e)
2. Fiber: you have to balance that protein; closer to the amount of fiber. Remember to count all fruit and veggies here too. All organically grown fibrous whole grains (included is brown rice and legumes i.e. whenever possible.
 I have a 6 g fiber bread each day. A sandwich is 12 g protein. Don't buy protein shakes etc. They are a waste of time as they're unfulfilling, too much sugar and the protein  and is not balance correctly.
I do have Hemp drinks; in a pinch if not the right balance of food that meal. (Found on line and I always loose when I get enough fiber or protein. Swanson Vitamins have one reasonable and organic)
 Organically grown grains: Eat until full, no calorie counted is needed when you eat 3 meals and 2 snacks as listed above. I make special little no sugar, protein balanced fiber breakfast and snack muffins. be creative. I make French toast out of that 6 g of fiber organically whole grain breads for snacks and bread and brown rice pudding. so good.
If your gluten intolerant use smelt or, the rice and coconut and almond flours i.e. the important thing is your balance with the veg and fruit and protein that meal. Make it fit your health problem. I don't eat bread every meal only if I need a quick fix for my balancing out the protein that meal.
 
SUGAR: not essential but most need some sugar. I use Stevia. Watch the sugar content on labels products. It can ruin your weight loss process because it raises you blood sugars too high which causes you to be aggressively too hungry. Pear juice is a good sugar sub. and their are many others like honey, raw organic maple syrup, etc. Absolutely, no aspartame.

3. BEVERAGES: Ice water with lime or, my big secret is to use lots of lemon juice. Squeeze the lemon juice found in bottles over a glass of small chipped ice then add liquid stevia or equivalent for a healthy drink 7-1o drops. Lemon causes weight lose. I never go a meal without it with or snacks. No soda pops. Hot or ice-Tea s and no more than two cups of coffee a day if needed. Drink the higher protein 9 g of organic soy milk; it comes in a unrefrigerated box almond milk highest in calcium to curb hunger whenever needed for excess hunger. 
 
4. Fats: Are essential as the right fats get rid of fat and destroy hunger. Use organic everything. (oils are coconut oil, safflower, or raw olive oil for veg.)
I count on my fingers and ask myself do I have the weight loss four?
 
TIPS;
*1 Nutiva hemp protein hi-fiber, USDA ORGANIC, no additive, has 12 g fiber and 11g protein (16 oz) This has a good balanced ratio but taste like mud
* I've learned eating seeds or, nut in-between meals are healthy choices of foods. My favorite is BIGS Simply Salted pumpkin seeds, home-style roasted. No artificial flavors, preservatives and no GMO seeds. (12 g protein and 3 grams of fiber (both is there) and, healthy natural fats for 1/3 cup. Love them.
* Adams no-stir peanut butter, fiber is 2, but the bread above is sufficient and adds more fiber. It has 7 g. protein. Their are other butters. The natural fat content is high for the brain functioning and hunger.
* Papa's Non GMO Organic Multigrain w Flax seed whole grain bread. 5 g of fiber per slice and 3 protein. (This is good for toast in mornings and when you lack fiber and need more. Its a good balance.
* I started add raw shelled Hemp Hearts to hot cereals to increase 10 g of protein. Remember the protein slows the carbs down and adds health oils. It has 3 g of fiber and 13 g of good natural needed fat to start out the day and is vegan. I'm trying to get you use to fiber, protein and oil to loose weight.
*Brown rice (whole grains only) wild rice or i.e. I eat this and serve with real whip cream (Real Whip in can)
*If your really want to lose weight limit taking or eating anti biotic meats. They've used hormones to fatten up the animal for weight to make more money. This becomes a weight issue as it's pass on to you and makes you gain weight, Butter the same as anti biotic's settles in fat tissues. (go towards veg. diets) It destroys gut flora toward weight loss. Use probiotic also.
*Mostly eat vegetables, fruits and legumes. (seeds and nuts i.e.)
*Insulin's all make us gain weight: hormones-that's another reason why your taking the lemons or grapefruit or in beverages.
* Meta Mucil or commercial fibers? (no aspartame) Use only for emergency fiber
*Concord Foods has a yellow squeeze bottle reconstituted lemon juice in the produce section of the store. Carry it at work etc. to use in all water over ice with or, over Ice is great. Another I use regularly, is TRUE LEMON, products both found at Wal-Mart, one in the cool-aid section and the other; 50 pkg box is on the shelf that equals one wedge of or real crystalized lemon. These healthier vegetarian buffalo "wings" may blow your mind and your taste buds:
Ingredients:
  • BUFFALO-STYLE CAULIFLOWER:
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil or grapeseed oil, plus more for the baking dish
  • 1 cup gluten-free flour or spelt flour or chickpea flour
  • 1 cup almond milk or coconut milk or non-dairy milk of your choice
  • 1 large head cauliflower, broken into medium-size florets
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 tablespoon garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons sweet paprika
  • 1 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cayenne
  • 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
  • 2 teaspoons agave nectar or maple syrup or brown rice syrup
  • 2 teaspoons arrowroot

Directions

For the cashew-dill dipping sauce: Strain the cashews and add them to a blender along with the olive oil, lemon juice, cider vinegar, nutritional yeast, dill, sea salt and 1/2 cup water (preferably filtered). Puree on high speed until very smooth and creamy, scraping down the sides of the blender with a spatula as needed. Transfer the sauce to a bowl, cover and refrigerate. (It will keep up to 5 days.)

For the buffalo-style cauliflower: Preheat the oven to 450 degrees F.



Buffalo-Style Cauliflower with Cashew-Dill Dipping Sauce (cont.)

  • CASHEW-DILL DIPPING SAUCE:
  • 1 1/4 cups raw cashews, soaked in water for 1 hour
  • 1/4 cup extra-virgin olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar

  • 2 teaspoons nutritional yeast
  • 1 teaspoon dried dill
  • 3/4 teaspoon sea salt
Directions (cont.)
Lightly oil a 9-by-13-inch baking dish. Whisk together the flour and almond milk until smooth. Dunk the cauliflower florets in the almond milk batter and transfer them to the prepared baking dish. Roast for 20 minutes, or until the cauliflower is cooked through.

Meanwhile, in a small saucepan, combine the cider vinegar, chili powder, garlic powder, sweet paprika, sea salt, cayenne, smoked paprika, onion powder, agave nectar and 1 tablespoon olive oil. Bring to a simmer over medium-high heat, then reduce the heat to medium-low and cook until beginning to thicken, 5 to 7 minutes. Whisk together the arrowroot and 2 tablespoons water and stir this into to the saucepan. Simmer for an additional 1 to 2 minutes. Remove from the heat and thin with a little water if necessary.

When the cauliflower is done, pour the buffalo-style sauce over it, toss to coat and return to the oven for a final 8 minutes.

Serve the buffalo-style cauliflower with cashew-dill dipping sauce on the side.

A comment on Borax: I wash my clothes with Borax, as recommended by Dr. Hulda Clark, and I run the used water out onto my garden.
I have two nectarine trees, both the same age. One gets the Borax water, the other does not.
The tree that gets Borax is twice the size of the tree that does not, and it keeps its leaves on for a couple of months longer.
And yet, the tree that does not get Borax is the only one that has produced fruit, so far.
They are young trees (two years), so I'm looking forward to the next years' harvest.

King Nebuchadnezzar+Daniel Blessed 4 NO MEAT EATING


HERE'S THE STORY: OF DANIEL SCHOOL (RICH AND POOR)
I love history, we truly can learn if we consider where we or others have been and why! Let's opening the Book of Daniel~ which settles old theory's to "The Protein Propaganda's" of Today's food philosophizer's. (see: Biblical History) This chapters emphasis Daniel's views clearly on "meat eating" (Re: with Vs: 15 - are the blessing clearly spelled out when practiced and who were the blessed the children.) To have health this page is essential toward eating more "mild foods." MILD Foods (plant based diet) not meat and strong drinks..
Reference quote; "And at the end of ten days their countenances appeared fairer and fatter in flesh than all the children which did eat the portion of the kings' meat." (Fatter meant healthier then...) Does everyone miss this point of the scriptures (history) hoping it will go away?
The "protein diet theories" with its main idea of eating more meat for its protein has never been proven correct nor will it ever be. I like to use this scripture in "History" to show this old theories been around before. Notice the result of the non-eating of meat here in the story. The story continues, as King Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon who was doing his own tests (or research) for his statistical for specifically reasons may not have be clear to many in our day.

A truly good school was difficult to come by then. The King took care of his children's schooling and other gifted ones, giving them all of their daily needs regarding shelter and food. The most intelligent and fairest of children were brought to Nebuchadnezzar’s palace for his special schooling held in his palace with at the end a special graduation, testing them after their three year of training using the best of his teachers. All the children had to meet certain criteria of looks, character, intelligence and those who were capable of the doing skilled math, sciences and another languages, etc.
Apparently, among the brightest children were four of the children of Judah (One of the 12 tribes), Daniel, Hanania, Mishael and Azariah-(Abed-negr.) (The same four who was thrown next, into the fiery furnace because of the refusal to worship an image from this same King.)
*Daniel proved to have some problems with the meals served to him and his brothers.
The scripture said he didn't want to “defile” himself with any portion of meat and liquor ordered to eat and drink by the King.
*2 And...Portions of liquor? No meat or liquor is what Daniel is speaking of in this story. It just meant they were given too much each day of meat and liquor by instruction from the king to his servants attending the children.
One of the prince Melzar, designated care giver for this school children, was worried that if Daniel and his brothers didn't eat what was ordered by the king for the children, and all might get sick. The King would notice it on the children's pale countenances and then take Melzar's head off. (Killed) Melzar's instructions would it foul up the Kings tests at graduation it Daniel and his brethren did different than the rest?
Now Daniel, obviously a leader, and being very bright child, replied, “Let “us” have ten days to just eat my grains, seeds (pulse) this includes legumes as they're just dried seeds. (But no meat and just water to drink, instead of the wine.) “Then check us out and compare us with the other children who are eating the meat and drinking the wine.”
*3 Well, the Lord made Daniel favorable with this prince so; Melzar consented for at least the ten days. At the end of the lot days, the four faired that was fed their diet of grains and seeds (Pulse) (legumes) did better than the other children who ate the meat and wine portions.
*The story goes on to say how God blessed all these children because of their obedience to temporal and spiritual law. And, he gave these four “more knowledge, skills in every subject, and even wisdom than the others.

Daniel was given the extra individual gifts of, one, understanding visions and dreams. (An obvious priesthood calling)
(*4 He didn't have to partake of the wine to either. )
When the school ended and all the children enrolled appeared to accountability before the King to be tested. Daniel (Belteshazzar, Hanania of Shadrach, Mishael of Meshach, and Azariah of Abed-nego, were at the top of their class. Ten times better than the rest of the children who ate the king’s meals, in every skill, knowledge’s and abilities. They were so intelligent, even brighter than the Kings own Magicians and Astrologers in his court that counseled him. He was so very impressed, but then forgets later of this episode, and with the interpretations of the dreams Daniel will do for him…so then onward to the fiery furnace!
*5 Not all the Jew’s at this time were meat eaters... more than likely, the Levi tribe that was maintained by all other tribes because of their priesthood callings over the sacrament (sacrifices.) Remember, these sacrifices also included fruit and breads too. A lot and mostly from the poor, depending on the sin involved. How many actually had a herd of sheep or even money buying meat sacrifice to slaughter is not totally known.
(John the Baptist, and the Essenes were not meat eaters either, (A history read of "Essene Gospel"), this "sick" group of Jews were trying to get well "naturally".)

The famous LDS 89 Sec. of the D.C. is a" fibrous" plant base diet, and meat is not at the base of its pyramid. Most churches including the LDS faith do not practice these principles.
*6 Lets Consider "Paul": Often Paul's misunderstood when quoted to or “not eating meat." (old law) He was speaking to the new Christians era. Christians didn't have to convert to the Jewish tribe or baptized as was in “old,” Jewish ways or doing things like being circumcised or old concerns way of eating meat of sacrificed animals in traditional way and these Jews had problems with Paul because of it. (or having to join Christ Church in the Jewish tradition had been required to do. They did not have to eat meat...or if they desired as many did that was OK 'ed too.
Big Change was; (Instead of eating and sacrificing lamb, Tithing came to being, bread and water/wine.) They didn't have to join the Jewish faith either or be a part of the faith or its laws to be a follower of Jesus Christ. This were done away with His coming and death, fulfilling the law. That's why Paul said, those who say not to eat meat was incorrect... In this part of the scripture you need to understand it's history and where Paul was coming from when he spoke of this.

Many didn't get it or change, and even today still exists. Many Jews resented the entitlements of these new members and gave Paul a bad time of it as with some not eating meat or the new tithing etc....so Paul was in his scripture actually trying to smooth the whole meat agenda over to re educate and consoling both sides and today is misunderstood because many don't understand the Jewish faith before Paul's mission of bringing all into the faith.
*7 You could include the most famous vegetarian Cain into this study. (Who FAMOUS at always presenting a bit of truth along with deception or big lie?) Cain was deliberately leaving out the Lord in the representational aspect of the lamb of Jesus Christ in his presentational of holy sacrifice deliberately! (lamb-meat). It was two-fold, he wanted to leave the Savior out and and now you know the real intent of his heart! He was tutored by Satan to leave Christ out! (His big lie…truth, in part, was the plants based vegetables and fruit which is the normal meat for man and always will be.

Did I say it was a sin to eat meat? Read this again…NO, that's the whole point here... by being informed of the "whys" will guiding you to eat more wisely. As Paul states that the weak eat less or no meat at all. More sick less meat or, use the "Fasting" and/or the "laying on of hands" (both includes prayer), and/or to use herbs with "mild foods”. Mild foods which are fruit and vegetables i.e.
Thus as Joseph Smith proclaimed "One matter can not go into another matter"...thus we become that matter? It would certainly be confusing on the "Resurrection Day."
It doesn't take proteins to make or build protein in our body's... as a healthy body makes its own proteins. Cow eat grass, to make dairy, and calves and never eat meat and when they have put animal products in their feed, ="Mad Cow Disease."

NOTE: MOST ALL CHURCH'S DO NOT PRACTICE THIS SECTION OF THE SCRIPTURES, NOR WAS IT PREACHED NOR TAUGHT, and this was not a commandment. Strangely enough, however, if it was a commandment, it would be disobedience to eat meat if not in a famine or winter if need be. Like in "The Word of Wisdom" that men changed from its original meanings and thus is confusing to the "laws of nature" if not taught correctly. All churches eat too much meat for good health. EASY ALMOND MILK (home made)

EASY ALMOND MILK: It's very easy to make your own at home... if you have a blender and good water.
Ingredients:
1/2 Cup raw blanched almonds (preferably raw and organic) to 4 times the water. Soak for 24 hours; then place in a blender. Pass through the mesh and there you have it: Almond milk.
Feel free to add vanilla to taste, I am quite pleased with it as is. The yield is about a quart. Feel free to adjust recipe to suit your needs. Below is a more formal recipe.

It is my understanding that there are plenty of uses for the almond paste that the mesh collects when straining the liquid. I myself have yet to explore the many uses...

This is how my daughter makes her Almond Milk. you will need:

1 cup (230 gr) blanched Almond flour
pinch of sea salt
2 medjool dates, pits removed
1/2 vanilla bean or 1 teaspoon of vanilla
4-5 cups water (filtered is good)

Using Almond flour makes the recipe very quick and easy. You don't have to soak almonds in water for 12 hours before making the milk.

I've added the link which has nice photos and very good oddities of recipes, and make the almond milk up with flavorings. I liked the blanched almonds that take out the bitterness. First thing, get to soaking those almonds. I like to use whole blanched almonds because they already have the papery, slightly bitter almond skins removed. •1.5 tbsp maple syrup, honey, stevia

You can purchase almond milk but along with those almonds comes lots of sugar, preservatives, stabilizers, and other not-so-natural ingredients. Making homemade almond milk is actually really simple, and produces a deliciously creamy beverage with minimal effort. Nuts also great source of omega's, vegan friendly, and is a good handy recipe to have whenever milk is needed. Freeze and use your pulp for baking, cookies, etc.



How to Make Homemade Almond Milk In Less Than 3 Minutes!
Ingredients
  • 2 cups filtered water
  • 2 tbsp plus 1½ tsp of your favorite almond butter (to taste; I like this one, but homemade is fine if that’s your preference)
  • Sweetener of choice; honey, maple syrup, yacon syrup, pitted dates (I like Medjool dates), etc. (optional, to taste) Stevia
  • Pinch of sea salt (if needed, your almond butter might already contain some sea salt)
  • I added my own stevia, seven drop per cup.
Instructions
  1. Add all ingredients to high-speed blender. I used my Vitamix, but any good blender will work fine. If you’re not adding a date, you might even be able to use a shaker jar.
  2. Mix until blended, about a minute.
  3. Use immediately or chill before serving. Keep refrigerated. (Contents may settle over time. Just shake your jar before using.)
