11 g protein. Tofu, some brands leave in more fiber.

These seasoned fried tofu nuggets make a great vegetarian option for the more popular chicken nuggets. Dipped in a seasoned batter then fried to a crisp golden brown, these nuggets are known to convert tofu haters into lovers. I've heard of these spray and oven bake them too. Very versatile after learning to use this product.
It's better to go to the HFS and buy tofu made from Organic soybeans . They have flavored tofu and already cubed. Just add more fiber for a better balance, with brown rice or stir and fry vegetables.

Ingredients

    1 package extra firm tofu
    ½ cup all-purpose flour
2 tablespoons nutritional yeast (available in the health food section, bulk spices) or, chicken flavoring in bulk.
    2 teaspoons garlic powder
    1 ½ teaspoons salt
    ½ teaspoon paprika
    ¼ teaspoon black pepper
    2/3 cup water
    Coconut or Peanut Oil

Instructions

Place the block of tofu on top of a flat strainer and place a flat plate over the top of the tofu. Then place a heavy pot on top of the plate. This will allow the tofu to expel as much water as possible. Allow the tofu to drain for 30 minutes.
Cut the tofu in 1-inch cubes.
In a medium bowl, stir in the flour, yeast, garlic powder, salt, paprika, black pepper, and water. Stir the batter until smooth.
Pour 1/3-inch level of oil into a medium pan. Heat the oil on medium heat.
Working in small batches, generously coat the tofu cubes with the seasoned batter.
Without overcrowding the pan, fry the bottom of the tofu until the batter turns to a crispy golden brown. Flip the cubes and cook until the rest of the tofu cubes are crispy and golden brown. Place finished cubes on a plate lined with a paper towel.
Continue to do this until all the cubes have been fried.

The tofu will be very hot. Allow the tofu to cool for five minutes. Enjoy while warm and crisp.
Serve with brown rice, or as a topping for salad. (Slice like spam for sandwiches)Image result for cubed tofu Try chicken flavored or beef taco's one night

      Lose weight on bread

Lost some more weight, I found some raisin, brand muffin's at Wall mart. (6 gram's of protein and 7 grams of fiber. (Perfect for me. I have three ft. of colon missing and I do have to have a lot of fiber. But, with diabetes and this condition I have to watch my diet more closely or stay on the toilet all day and night. (It messes up my electrolytes taking out my minerals i.e.)
Start with the idea of organic whole grains, no sugar or very low or sweeten with real fruit. Other trade offs use other styles of grains or breads like pita i.e. (keep away from fake fibers and part white flour and part w/w. (not good for dieters) It's hard to find a good muffin like the one I buy at Wall mart. This link has some muffin's take we can make health. I can't always find, so I use this mix below; "Hodgson Mill" semi homemade recipe.
https://www.pinterest.com/hrymer/all-sorts-of-muffins/ I put the link here but it is hard to find a good ratio of fiber and proteins. However, in any muffin recipe you can add 1 - 1 half cups for brand to any recipe. Use the high soymilk protein and control the sugar to raisins, dates or other fruits. This muffin recipe is the best on the internet I found:

Low- Carb, High- Fiber Bran Muffins (rich in omega 3 fatty acid)
BRAN MUFFINS BREAK DOWIN OF NUTRITENTS
High Fiber Cereals can be made into excellent muffin's
Hot cereals are good for fiber too (Red Mill) and last but not least is a organic grown grains of breakfast cold cereals with the 11 gram organic soy milk to start the morning.

Some Mornings a protein/veg breakfast: A vegetable omelet, Oh so good ! With a good herb breakfast tea. (This will last a long time: Chop your veggies, mushroom peppers, and red or green onion then freeze it all that day. Next morning unthaw pieces you want in your omelet, barely nook in some of the veggies in the microwave or skillet to thaw them out) Then add in some chopped basil or, hot sulsa i.e.) Top with sour cream and sliced tomato or avocado.
The point is watch for healthy food bargain's their everywhere.

      EXAMPLE:
I couldn't get them Monday so I had to replace their values: DAVE'S BREAD, all organic; one slice has 5 grams of protein and 6 grams of fiber. He makes a variety, I buy the "POWERSEED." Yes, it has sugar, but its fruits. That's ok. www.DAVESKILLERBREAD.COM  he spent 15 years in prison and now owns a family business. Remarkable.
Their are other cheaper kinds of the same types of breads but Dave Dahl started it all. If I can find his bread at Wal Mart I get his. Bit More Costly but, so are his ingredients to make it.  I couldn't make it for that much.  I'm single so I freeze or refrigerate these costly threats.
Treat your self well, no one else will and remember your not a garbage can. Garbage causes bad health and weight gain. By the way, I only add the bread in my meals; IF I NEED a FIBER meal.
Here's an example of flourless (sprouted bread) I use period ally. (At the bottom is a semi home made one I've done)
Not the best toast, but it's great on diets.
A 3:00 snack can be some bread mentioned above and the organic soymilk. Don't get hungry you'll over eat at meals. (Six mall meals is good)

      BRAN MUFFINS

      1cup unprocessed wheat bran
1/4 cup milled flaxseed (take place of eggs +adds fiber.)
1/4 cup organic soy flour, or coconut flour (or add 1/2 cup bran for more fiber)
      2 tsp. baking powder
      1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 cup sugar or another sweetener (taste dough for tartness) agave, honey, stevia or fruits pears or apple sauce.

      1/4 cup chopped  nuts
1/4 cup raisins, cranberries, or dates

      WET:
1 small granny smith apple, grated with skin
      1/4 cup canola oil
1/2 cup egg substitute- flaxseed is a good one
1/4 cup non-fat milk, or organic soy
      1/4 cup unsweetened applesauce ?
Direction: Mix wet ingredients with dry, stir just until mixed.
Pour into a greased muffin tin.
      Bake 18-20 minutes @ 400 F
      Makes 12 muffins.
      Number of Servings: 12
SEMI HOME MADE MIFFINS (BRAN) basic
Start out with a mix: Hodgson Mill
Whole Wheat Bran muffin mix (follow directions on box) This made up 24 small muffins
      You'll need oil, egg, milk
This will have 4 g. protein and 3 g fiber, sugar is liquid cane sugar. However, you are going to add more fiber and protein, which will dilute the sugar per serving. It is very difficult to find a mix that has enough protein and fiber. Some of odd brands do better.
Variations: add banana, applesauce/pear, nutmeats, apple pie spices, pumpkin spices, raisins, cranberry's etc. Only add not more than a handful of one or mix with another chosen ones.
This also make a Banana Bran Bread.

HOW TO GET NORMAL pH LEVELS FOR URIC ACID DISEASES

Grapefruit pectin or pill or grapefruit seed extracts (Botanic Choice) Favor using green drink mixed with v8 juice. (all juice mix with some green herbs will be better.
Drinking tonic water, which contains quinine, keep your pH at 7.35. (Fiji 7.5 and Evan 7.8 and distilled waters only.
I have not listed many fruits/vegetables with natural distilling property that the plants do. (Keep fruit mixed with a vegetable.)
For leg or any muscle cramps its the electrolyte's that need to be replaced. Gatorade w/o aspartames keep by your bedside and their are others. (No pops, "acid", you will not lose weight. Keep your electrolytes normal)

Here's a Few Suggestions for Gout disease that is not pH /electrolyte's (normal,) and there are others.
Improvement with a few sources that  will also help (see arthritis page).
In arthritis and gout the person affected is producing too much uric acid. Vinegar will cut uric acid. Runners when starting exercising in the spring for the first few times will take vinegar and water before exercising and muscles will not store that uric acid being released by exercising. This will not cause pain so the runner muscles will not get sore.
It's important to keep in gout a alkaline body, if not years of abuse will result in too much acid in joints. It's pain lets you know something's wrong. The accumulations of too much acid in its toxins needs to be diluted with water not more acid.
Pain can be not only caused by built up uric acid but acerbated by soda pops, heavy metals stored in the body, corn syrups, and pain medication, even diabetic meds.
Chlorophyll's will aid the body in correcting the abnormal ph balance. (Chlorella, wheat grass, i.e.) Corn syrups increases gout 500% and uric acid 82% and needs to be flushed out or diluted with water. Remember the old first aid for poisonings dilute, dilute etc.
Others:Sour Cherry Juice, the FDA does not allow those who grow cherries, unlike cranberries, to talk about the anti inflammatory properties of cherries. Why?
Or, old remedy is six dark cherries daily
Too much ANIMAL proteins is bad for gout conditions
      Apple Cider Vinegar (ACV)
No Corn Syrup product, especially in sodas, switch to Cokes etc. that come from Mexico made with sugars. (High fructose i.e.)

Treat the whole body...kidney's with lots of pure water http://www.water4unow.com/ Also, treat the Colon health with probiotics and Aloe Vera Juice.
Celery seeds supplements and juicing carrots with celery for a while will take away gout and make you pee ha ha. (La Dean Griffin's Book "Is There Any Sick Among You").
Heavy metal or drug poisonings? Get the lead out with fresh apple juice or its pectin i.e. ACV + grapefruit i.e.

A few foods high in uric acid are turkey, pork, Salmon, Shellfish, Venison, Spinach, Cauliflower, Chocolate, and Asaragus. Eliminate foods high in oriteins (meat, cheese etc., and caffeine.
http://www.naturalnews.com/ website, this site is on Agave’s nectar sugar. Some processes are better than others are; however honey's better.
Figs for gout, and do strive to keep your body to a normal ph.
Nutmeg, Ginger Root bring the body back to alkaline, Lobelia, Alfalfa, Blue Violet Leaf, Buckthorn (Lax.) and Mugwort. (Avocado's will too)
Flax seed oil, flaxseeds, Bromelain 10 cap. 2000 GDU and drinking a cup of water every couple of hrs
Baking soda with ACV will alkalizes the body?
Glucosamin supplementation with out the fish that is counterproductive to gout's causes. So are elevated blood sugars and inflammations that are doing the damage. Add more?
Gut: Recipe, Kefir Start: 1/4 cup Kefir yogurt then ferment to 1 quart of liquid (milk, coconut milk etc.,) or 1 cup to one gallon of milk. 72-5 F. for 18-24 hours and you have one of the best probiotic beverages.
Stomach: Use Aloe Vera every eating (Capsules are easy, Aloe keeps down the acids on the stomach which passes into the colon.)

Distilled Water Secrets UN Doesn't Want You to Know!

This is the distiller I have from sears. I like distilled water for the pH level is 7 and helps my tendencies for it stones and help with my weight. The distiller has lasted a long time. The spout is plastic; that's not good. I saw same home made distiller made from pressure cookers, however watch what kind of metals are involved. http://www.waterliberty.com/special_report.php.
The best waters are Fiji (7.5) Avian (7.8) A normal blood is (7.35)
Crude distiller is in this story.

      TESTIMONY ON THIS PAGE;
I almost died, once in my life, from recurring kidney stones. I was spending many weekends, writhing on a cot in an emergency room, trying to pass kidney stones. Finally I had to have surgery in 1977, in which a doctor cut my kidney in half to get a stone out of it. I reasoned that the material from which the stone was made, had to come from somewhere. We had precipitated crystals in college chemistry, by starting a metal molecule in solution, then "doping" it every day for a long time, with a rich solution containing the "seed" salt. I reasoned that if the material making my kidney stones came from the water I was drinking, I needed to switch to distilled water which contains nothing but water. I did that, have been drinking distilled water ever since, and so far, I have not passed another stone in all those years.

      Post 57
As I was reading the mixed reviews about distillers, I became compelled to share my own first-hand experience with them. About two years ago, I nearly died from a rare disease. I was put on a very heavy and toxic medication for the rest of my life. The medication was so toxic that within 24 hours the odor of my urine became very pungent and overpowering smelling and has never been normal since. I realized that this was a sure-fire indicator that my liver and kidneys were working overtime trying to keep up with the toxicity of my medication and were obviously at their limits. During the last few months I finally tried drinking a lot more tap water in my attempt to give my body more water to dilute and rid itself of the toxins. That only made the odor stronger. This puzzled me so I then started to research this. I knew that our drinking water had “things” added to it to supposedly make it safe for drinking, however, little did I realize how toxic these chemical additives were. After much research, my conclusions led me to the purchase of a cheap and used distiller. After purchasing and trying it, I was very disappointed in its performance. The water had a very strong chemical odor to it and it also had a predominant chemical taste to it as well. Since the unit had a plastic exterior, I assumed that certain interior components of it must have been made of plastic as well. As the water got hot, it must have made contact with these components and caused a toxic chemical reaction with the distilled water. I had the finished water drip into a metal pot instead of using the plastic jug that was included so that the jug would not be part of this initial trial. I ended up placing the distiller back in its box and never tried to use it again. I was not going to replace one poisonous toxin with a potentially more dangerous one. Still having faith in this common sense technology, I then decided to spare no expense and purchase a distiller of far superior construction which had absolutely no plastic in it whatsoever. Even the collector jar was made of glass. I chose this model because I was impressed with its quality of construction. Upon its arrival, I set up the distiller and produced distilled water with it. I was very impressed with the water. It had absolutely no taste or scent to it at all and that was only the start. Literally, within 24 hours and for the first time in over two years, the functions of my liver and kidneys seemed to totally go back to normal and my urine was no longer pungent and strong. It became subtle and unnoticeable just like it was before I ever started taking the strong medication. I drew the conclusion that my body’s organs no longer had to filter out the chlorine, fluoride and other poisons from the water that I drank. As a result, they were finally able to successfully filter out the toxins from the medication without being overtaxed in the process. I can’t begin to imagine the other, less obvious, benefits I’m gaining from such pure water. In any event, I really feel like my investment is going to add years of good health to my life. Now regarding stories of people getting abdominal pains or thinking they’re dying from drinking distilled water, there are obviously other factors at play that are causing physical issues for them. I nearly got poisoned from my first distiller because of its cheap plastic parts chemically combining with the steam or distilled water, thus, producing poisonous water. Secondly my neighbor is a clinical laboratory scientist. She told me that due to the nature of the minerals that are in unfiltered tap water, our bodies are never able to absorb and properly use them anyway. She said that our bodies get most of the minerals that are required through the fruits and vegetables we eat – not through the water we drink. Finally, the water aboard naval vessels goes through both the distillation process and the reverse osmosis process. If thousands of sea-going marines are drinking distilled water, do the math please! My distiller has rescued me from potential organ damage and is quite likely no prolonging my good health and life. Let’s not be so “uneducated”, to be polite, and face the really obvious… Drinking pure distilled water, free from poisonous toxins is good for you. Drinking poison toxins is bad for you.

5 Popcorn Idea's (New way to use this treat)

I eat a lot of popcorn on this diet. Keep on hand "Western Family PREMIUM BUTTERFLAVOR" cooking spray in place of butter. I don't like microwaved popcorn and prefer to pop it myself in coconut butter. Here' are some other ideas. As I understand, pop corn is not sprayed, in fact many
use ground fresh for corn bread and to make polenta

Great Pop Corn Snack (a fibrous Snack for dieters)
It’s all about adding more fiber and relieving hunger for between meals to compliment any good diet. This will help you to be prepared for those hungry times when you could get into wrong things. And beside the vegetable and fruit with dips we rotate from now and then for variety add in some needed grains with lots of fiber. One suggestion is to include popcorn in your diet every day. Have it plain and you'll never tire as easily.

Nibble all day or/and carry it with you during the day as a pre-breakfast, pre-dinner, pre-lunch your appetite controller and as a mid-evening mini-meal, i.e.

This will satisfy your hunger and prevent any panicky, impulsive teating’s. (I eat when I am hungry, small snacks during the day. Don't let your body starve; we, now,  know this puts on weight.)

One of my favorites reads was Diane Thornocks diet book, 2000+ calories. She was correct about her basic  dieting ideas but she got carried away with fads, "Low Fat" and her ideas about too much meats in every meal...by the way she died of cancer (young too) Her books and all those fads diet books are available at thrift stores. Low fat proven out to harm to children’s brain mentally abilities.

Then comes along the zone diet proving by adding the right fats to your diet your mind actually becomes un-fogged and by adding the right fats (omegas) the dieter can actually lose weight better. However, I'm not going to do your research in this area today.

The point I wanted to make with this in mind is its OK to eat, eat, eat, but watch out that it's quality, fibrous, complex organically grown whole grain foods i.e.. That means lots of legumes, fresh fruits and vegetables in all varieties and no chemicals. Even dairy shouldn’t have hormones and etc.

You can eat a lot more quality foods, but not in the incorrect areas such as pre-boxed, packaged, pre-prepared and chemically treated, fake sugars, and sodas are all out. Because they don’t meet the first criteria of quality. Fresh and seasonal foods then balance it all out with variety. It’s not quantity so much but the quality. One person said not boxed nor packaged, well it make sense to me for the most part if you want to be a successful dieter.

Try different brands of popcorn but better if no GMO corn. It's all accumulative and chemicals and lack of nutrition adds up in our bodies. Bad nutrition, chemicals will catch up with us all and put on weight because it put the body in a starving mode. It lacks the essentials nutrients. So, eat, and be choosy! You not a garbage can.

Carry popcorn in your purse, in your car, to work, school, movie, sporting events and keep it with you at all times. A plastic zip bag is great and it keeps it fresh and tasty. Add raisins, nuts, darker chocolate +such if you need a change. If your popcorn doesn't look good and tasty, you're probably not hungry. Therefore you shouldn't eat popcorn or anything else for that matter until you are hungry.

Use Air-Poppers or on top of the stove in a two quart pan with a good tight lid. Make sure the coconut oil is hot before adding the popcorn. Or, use enough olive oil just covering one layer of popcorn then shake it once in a while then add sea salt. When using sea salt you’ll not need much and in add organic butter (no fat hormones which would defeats the whole purpose, or use Pam butter spray on top.

Get a paper bag add ¼ cup Organic popcorn, salt and a bit of oil and bingo you have microwave popcorn. Same directions as the store brand bag style, but with no chemicals.

Store in a plastic zip locked bag to keep it fresh. Make up enough to last the week, or day. NEVER use the microwave popcorn with too many added chemicals.

Add 1-2 Tb. of water in old UN popped/cooked corn and place in fridge to put back its moisture. I prefer the white popcorn with no kernels. Watch out; don't choke on the “old maids.”

This will facilitate clearing out your gastrointestinal tract through healthy regular bowel movements. Take advantage of the dry salty taste in taking of plenty drinking of good reverse osmosis lemon water while eating a rich  fiber-rich popcorn.
Evenings are weak times for snacks eating and maybe a good time to add some protein in (with 11 g protein in organic soymilk) to your evening . I always loose lots lbs my popcorn weeks.

You can add cut up veggies and fresh fruit with the organically grown popcorn. If faithful they will begin to say, You’re too thin!

      CANDIED ORANGE PEELS.

Don't through the orange or lemon peels away, candy them for holiday gifts. (See more preppers pages https://www.pinterest.com/source/thehomesteadsurvival.com/ )

Garnished orange chocolate mousse with candied orange peels.  I could not resist making my own candied orange peels. As it turns out, candied orange peels are actually pretty easy to make. It is really just as simple as peeling some oranges, slicing the peels, simmering them in water and sugar until tender, tossing them in sugar and letting them dry.

Before simmering the peels in the water and sugar you can boil them in water one or more times to help reduce the bitterness.
The final step of drying the peels is going to take a day or two so you need to keep that in mind when making the candied orange peels.

      Candied Orange Peel

For something that is so easy to make, these candied orange peels are addictively good! Candied orange peels are a citrus lovers heaven and you can candy pretty much any citrus fruits peel that you like. The crunchy sugary coating wraps around the soft, sweet pure orange flavour creating a pleasant contrast in texture. If you think that candied orange peels are good all by themselves.

Then you have to try dipping them into a melted dark chocolate coating. Chocolate and orange is one of those classic flavour combinations and this is one of the best examples of it that I have ever had!

      OATMEAL, no flour cookies

This is my signature cookies recipe. I wanted more oatmeal and no flour, taste good and healthy.

I finely found this recipe. In my other blog on this post alone I had about 2,600 hit before I turn it off "ShermsOrganicNews."

#No-Flour, Oatmeal Cookie (gluten, flour free/ allergies free if you use organic)
This is a no flour complex very high in fiber adaptable breakfast or a great pick me up snack recipe. Make this the best organic whole oatmeal cookies ever. So much better than the ones from from health food stores that have preservatives in them.

Also; you could substitute some of the organic whole oats to whole-wheat flakes or other grains when you get use to doing this recipe as is first. It's made a bit different. (Coconut, organic peanut butter and chocolate chip, carob and etc can be added in after, first, making it from the original recipe with tweets to your likings. This makes up a big batch for large families (freeze). You may prefer to ½ the recipe making smaller batches.

You will need baking paper, or two very good cookie sheet pans that will not brown the bottoms. They have to cool down in the pan, or slide off using your paper after being cool down a bit. The other pan will keep you baking while your first batch cools. They are delicate at this stage, depending on how long they are baked. As they can harden up and become crisp (which I like in this cookie. If not take them out a bit early) Note. to be a good cookie maker don't leave the kitchen, have a timer, and take them out a bit early to let them cook on top in their cookie sheet. (my style)

My neighbors use to come to my house to get this cookie. I use to always have it on hand but then my daughter moved and I don't bake them much. It was her favorite cookie recipe.
I've taken a (Google image: oatmeal cookies,) I have no camera.  (If you spread about 1/4 thickness in a Pyrex baking dish  in the form of a loose hay-stacks with a lg ice cream scoop...or, you can make breakfast bars.)
If you use choc. chips don't add into the mix in you gal. jar letting the oil and oats and sugar macerate in but mix, or press them in just before baking.
It may be a good recipe to store and pass onto your next generation.
However, you may not want to share these gems. LOL

BEST Oatmeal Cookies (no flour) This originally came from the Seventh Day Adventist Magazine long ago, but this has been rendition/adaptions. The original had too much sugar. Always taste the dough to see if it sweet enough on all recipes. This had added in one more cup of sugar.
      INGREDIENTS:
4 cups organically grown whole grain oats is best
1 or 1-3/4 cups dark brown sugar (or, to taste)
1 cup of pressed sunflower (or safflower oil ...it's the Tonalin CLA oil...) or, any Mono oil (even light olive oil.) Coconut oil? (no honey, it softens the cookie to much for me)
SET ASIDE IN : Let the above three ingredients needs to sit/stand for eight hours A must! in a gallon jar or big Tupperware bowl i.e. in
      .......................................................................................
Next day... mix the following together.
2 well beaten organic eggs -to hold them together
½ teaspoon sea salt (high in magnesium, and less use of salt)
      2 teaspoons almond extract
1-cup nuts (slivered or chopped almonds? -nut meat) I used slivered almonds
Use the smallest ice cream scoop (1/8') for dropping these "haystack" looking oats mounds on a cooking sheet and round together the edges where it will brown too much.
      ...............

Bake for about 10 minutes or, longer if you desire crispier cookies. They need to be first baked (abt 10 minutes at 350) and then cooled down; right on cookie sheets before removing them or they will break apart and the cookie will crumble.

Be patience they're well worth the wait. Some like these crispy, other prefer them medium. Also they will naturally crisp up in storage. (Half the recipe if its too much) They will not go to waste!
      ...................

Do not sub "diet sugars or high fructose types of sugars" I've done honey too...hu  mmmm ... don't care for the moist cookie effect. If you use a substitute for the egg, put it with the oats jar.
It's the egg and sugar that holds these together,

These cookies have to be soaked with the oil (olive oil works too); baked them but first cool them down then, remove from baking paper. This does the trick. You actually can use any oil, I prefer the mono-s (I know I am repeating, but some things need to be emphasized for a this style of cooked.

      .....................
This is another way to use any left-over's
**GRANOLA: Layer the mixture out on size of your lined baking paper or wax paper lined cookie sheet, (unless, you have pans that don't burn cookies on the bottoms) Then, slowly baking them at 250 for 40 minutes.
Or for a more crunchy bites up to 1 hr. depending on tray size, thickness and depends your oven temperature. The easiest way is just to crunch up the left-over cookies in milk, works great too. (Add in other ingredients, raisins, coconut etc as you get more proficient when using this recipe a lot...which I did .) They are so easy to make...
*Melt coconut oil or butter and use for the replacement of the safflower oil.

Try this no flour cake too made with coconut or almond flour (angel food cake)

      QUICKEST POPCORN BALL RECIPE

      https://www.pinterest.com/rlh60/hot-air-popcorn-ideas/
Popcorn Balls (A rare treat, easy, cheap and quick tastily snack for holiday treats) (Kettle Corn) recipe.
Cheat on fiber treat food once or twice a yr. (?) makes 12 pc balls.

These are quick and easy popcorn balls, taste like Carmel popcorn, but they do have corn syrup in them. (Once a year?) My daughter just called me and wanted this recipe again. She's going to cook the honey (in part/place of dark Karo (corn syrup) to a soft ball stage and let me know. Her grandmother did but she didn't let me have the exact amounts i.e.) ! This was my children's favorite recipe made once a year. It has lots of fiber and more nuts raisins etc can be added.
      Quickest, Easiest Popcorn Balls Recipe
Popcorn abt 2qts. Salted lightly (less sugar ration recipe= more popcorn)
      1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup organic butter (margarine /...too soft margarines add in too much water)
1/2 cup Karo (sub. organic blue Agave, or raw honey)
      Boil about one minute.
Then pour over about a quart or two of white popcorn (or yellow).
Butter your hands and make into a ball when a bit cooled down.
Cautions: I use to make this recipe up all the time. Margarine's have changed since then and noticed they have added more water re-placing its missing oil; or, bit Boil longer or use butter. If you flatten and layer this recipe on a cookie sheet making it into Carmel corn. (speed this process using lower temperature's in oven.)
      ...............

Version 2: Use 1/2 pkg. of gum drops candies and press it all in a angel food cake pan turn over and pour out. Give as a birthday cake. *Add nuts, raisins, etc to the popcorn balls and press.
Or, add peanuts and/or raisins or cranberries i.e. Great for Halloween individually wrapped.

      GREAT SNACK FOR DIETERS, POPCORN

Great Pop Corn Snack (a fibrous Snack for dieters)
It’s all about adding more fiber and relieving hunger for between meals to compliment any good diet. This will help you to be prepared for those hungry times when you could get into wrong things. And beside the vegetable and fruit with dips we rotate from now and then for variety add in some needed grains with lots of fiber. One suggestion is to include popcorn in your diet every day. Have it plain and you'll never tire as easily.

Eat all you want, drop it for a while when you burn out
      then you'll come back.
      https://www.pinterest.com/rlh60/hot-air-popcorn-ideas/

Nibble all day or/and carry it with you during the day as a pre-breakfast, pre-dinner, pre-lunch your appetite controller and as a mid-evening mini-meal, i.e.

This will satisfy your hunger and prevent any panicky, impulsive eating’s.

Get a paper bag add ¼ cup Organic popcorn, salt and a bit of oil then "bingo" you have microwave popcorn.

POPCORN will facilitate clearing out your gastrointestinal tract through healthy regular bowel movements. Take advantage of the dry salty taste in taking of plenty drinking of good reverse osmosis lemon water while eating a rich  fiber-rich popcorn. THIS IS A ENCOMICAL HEALTY SNACK.

This is one of my post from Native American sources. It's one of my older post done in Sherm's Organic News, which is on draft. The flower of the herb I've used in a oil for my children's ear infections. I used the herb Mullein for Lungs. I've taken friends on herbal walks to showing them this herb. Never in the wild collect by the roads. Mother earth is everybody's garden leave what you can for next year. (roots)
If you take from Mother Nature, give something back.MULLEIN PLANT (Plentiful common wild flower, weed, wild eatable plant used for alternative medicine for centuries. It peaks in middle of summer with a cone of yellow flowers then seeds; Verbascum thapsus or nigrum variety) Also called; Adam's Flannel, Hags's Taper, Jupiter's Staff, Molene, Velvet Dock, Woolly Mulin.

Golden seal an antibiotic and a example of an herb that has been "over picked" whose seeds were not planted back where picked, and now are not available in the wild and controlled by the herbal company's which we pay too much their abuse. The blame belongs to mostly the herbal industry. Their should be laws that they need to replant famish areas they've over picked...especially, in famine situations in parts of the world.
I present this post in my blog because it's one of the "famine herbal," available for the needy please learn how to use them (Plantain, Nettle, Chicory, Dandelion, i.e.) Don't gather any plant by roads, it will have lead in the plant, nor near by fields where they've sprayed with pesticides or by ditch banks where the state kills off weeds.

Mullein use to be used for Indian diaper,( and smoking) so, I've heard and has been called Grandmother flannel" because of its soft thick fuzzy-furry leaves. The yellow flower has been used as a dye.
RecipesTea: An aromatic tea can be made by boiling 1 tbs. dried leaves or root, in 1 cup water for 5 - 10 min. A sweeter tea can be made by infusing the fresh or dried flowers. Or for children and the elderly use milk instead of water. Sweeten with honey, if desired. Honey can be an anti biotic depending on the plants the bees use. (Manak is a strong anti biotic honey.) (Andrographis plant is another natural antibiotic (kills parasites) too.)

Roots can be boiled, leaves and flowers an infusion-decoctions teas are best.
Mullein oil: Use flowers or root. Place in blender or crush (herb pestle, if dried use coffee grinder), fill jar, then cover with olive oil, set in warm place for 2 weeks. Strain before use.

      Papaya

As an excellent treatment for digestive disorders and extremely useful for any disturbances of the gastrointestinal tract. Papain, the powerful enzyme in Papaya, helps to dissolve and digest protein, thus easing stomach ailments and indigestion. (Because papain breaks down tough meat fibers, it is often used in rstaurants and is the major ingredient in commercial meat tenderizers!) Papaya has been effective in easing heartburn and is given to treat dyspepsia and gastric catarrh. Papaya also stimulates the appetite.

Papaya's enzyme, papain, not only digests protein, but it extends its activity to digesting carbohydrate. Papain also breaks down wheat gluten, which may be helpful for those

suffering from Celiac disease. Those who have difficulty digesting starchy foods, such as breads, cereals and potatoes, might find great relief in including Papaya in their diets.

Papaya helps to settle a nervous and upset stomach and the queasy feelings often associated with travel and motion sickness. It has also been helpful in relieving morning

Papaya is said to have compounds that act as the female hormone, estrogen and has been used in folk medicine to promote milk production, facilitate childbirth and increase the female libido. In some parts of the world, it is used to induce menstruation and is considered a uterine stimulant.

In other cultures, Papaya has many medicinal applications. Such as, treatment of poisonous snakebites, Papaya helps to degrade the venom protein in the blood, thus losing its deadly strength. It is used topically to rid the pain of insect stings, and it is said that when applied to heal wounds It can digest dead tissue without affecting the surrounding live tissue. In Jamaica, the gummy latex of the unripe papaya fruit is slowly dripped onto warts and corns, shriveling them, and they fall off. The juice has been used as a facial wash to remove freckles. Herbs For Brain Disorders

This has been one of my popular post in Sherm's Organic New so I decided to repeat it.

PERIWINKLE or, Vinpocetine (Cavinton, Intelectol, or chemical name is ethyl opovincaminate) can be a semi synthetic derived from a plant alkaloid; vincamine extract from a herb known as Periwinkle plant (binca minor.) Most medicines come from herbs. Why not go directly to the herb, instead of getting the semi-synthetics. Drug company's do research on herbs using their synthetic
versions that through they research off. Much of the public are getting onto their deviant tactics.
This is an herb that will give oxygen and dilates the brain's blood vessels, and is especially good for senior.
Avoid inorganic metal which is a chemical such as iron which has new study's to cause Alzheimer's
      Dried Astragalus herb
      http://www.natural-health-and-healing-4u.com/benefits-of-astragalus.html
Gingko is more popular for this as well as Astragulas (more calming).Astragulas (Most (G) herbs thin blood, so be careful, so does Sarsaparillas drinks and Red clover blossom tea, not sprayed, organic if you want the full benefits. If your very poor like me I order from Swanson's on the net)
The (A) herb for brain is Awagandha for any depression and for any immune rebuilding after chemo or illnesses.(Lion's Mane Mushroom, and many others i,e)

The brain diseases such as Parkinson's and Alzheimer's would benefit from these herbs.
Identified as an anti-inflammatory agent. It's especially good for any disease of the brain,
Side effects of vinpocetine may include indigestion, nausea, dizziness, anxiety, facial flushing, insomnia, headache, drowsiness and dry mouth. Vinpocetine may also cause a temporary drop in blood pressure. In clinical trials adverse effects have been reported infrequently, but the trials were not long-term.
Dosage 2-5 mg with meals (to start with for long period of time to see how this will effect you personally, (Remember the drug company's use this herb, so it has to be potent.) Then increase the dosage to 10-40 mg daily (which may, although rarely cause some light side effects.)
*HERB WALKS: This is good herb to find in the wild...and look for on HERBAL WALKS, which I hope will catch on. Please do not disturbed or "rape" the area of any herb. Do not use if by a high-way (too much lead.) Leave the area clean and undisturbed as much as possible. Spread the seeds and/or bury them for the next season and for the next person to see and use. Do not break off carry shears.
*My job or goal is not to be a dictionary/encyclopedia for my readers. They're plenty of other such sites. But, only to introduce you to the more familiar herbs I've had experiences in using. It's your jobs as a reader to investigate those sites to see it this is a direction for you to search out further for your illness. Also, I always leave a philosophy in a thought in even my recipes about food, herbs, environmental issues, and give knowledge about who maybe corrupting them and why, just in case a reader haven't notice. That's why this post and other are different than a dictionary site.
