HOME MADE DENTURE ADHESIVES

This is a bit political at first: I was looking for denture adhesive, that are organically home made. I had to use most of the search engines today which all have the same info on adhesives.
Why? Spam and/or the marketing of company's that use to give us information free are now make their money off you asking for the information your seeking. What a racket!

Want a recipes? Now these site sells books with a lour or to peek; giving your free recipe, so to "pin", "face book", or "tweeter" for them to get more sales (free-spam).  That's also of course more posts to more views to sell you more products and too, if you click on Googles many more ads connected that are just saying the same dam thing.
For an example: Try finding different "homemade organic denture adhesives." Impossible! They're  all the same one's (2). Why? It better for all search engines to (OVER-KILL) selling ads for "all" the denture adhesives and those who are selling them; than to give you any "freebie" blogger answer; in this case; of how they make home made adhesives. The marketeers want you to click on as many of their ads so others can get paid and them too. What a market. Who says the Internet is free?

Any more, I don't even want to look up anything on the Internet? I got no answers that any other person couldn't get in just three clicks. (Never click on the first ads...bogus) The are all ads.

And, I'm going to do something besides blogging, no one can get info using search engines unless you pay and my times valuable. I don't like this run-around.  Bloggers have to use, WORDS-GOOGLE (costs about 100.BUCKS A MONTH to put you post in the Internet round-about.) so, they can stick it where the sun can't shine anymore...

You were not expecting a commercial

THREE: Denture Adhesives
Much more than 35 million People in America put on dentures, but the majority of them do not understand that wearing dentures can actually jeopardize their health! Lately launched research exhibits a strong hyperlink in between the zinc that's current in main denture adhesive manufacturers and long term nerve harm. If you use among the well-liked denture cream manufacturers, you're most likely exposing yourself to zinc- major brands like Super Poligrip and Fixodent are among the numerous manufacturers that contain harmful levels of zinc and chemical but then so does the plastic of the dentures. They need to change this material, but will not unless we make it an issue.
THEN, WHY DO WE PUT ZINC-OXIDE ON BABYS BOTTOMS?
(The plastic in denture's are as bad for you as the plastic (poly) in adhesives)
"To make a standard adhesive at home, collect the following items: karaya gum power from your local health food store, tragacanth gum powder from the cake decorating supplies at your local craft store, and peppermint oil. Measure 1 oz. of karaya gum powder into a small bowl. Add 3 oz. of tragacanth powder. Stir until the two are well blended and then transfer to a small bottle. Add 30 drops of peppermint oil. Place the cap on the bottle and shake vigorously for one minute or until the oil and powders are thoroughly mixed. Sprinkle ¼ teaspoon of the gum blend across the surface of the denture and insert into the mouth. Hold firmly in place for 30 seconds and release. The gums should bond lightly with the exposed tissues of the mouth, holding the dentures in place for up to 12 hours.

TOILET PAPER: OR VIVI "TORN" PAPER TOWEL, IS A GOOD TEMP FILLER FOR DENTURES THAT DON'T FIT. TEAR, TUCK IN TO FIT. I discovered it by accident. It keeps them more secure than dental pastes. (Who knows what's in them)

Gum For a less traditional take on the gum adhesive, try making a denture bonding agent from standard-issue bubble gum. (Glee Brand in HFS is best) The ingredients are easier to find and the flavor can be a bit more pleasant. Begin by placing 1/3 cup of unwrapped gum pieces into a microwave-safe bowl. Microwave the gum for one minute on full power. Mix well with a wooden dowel rod or wooden stick, until the gum is thoroughly blended. Measure ¼ cup of confectioner sugar onto a sheet of waxed paper. Push the sugar into a pile and use your fingers to create a small well in the center. Transfer the melted gum to the well in the sugar. Use your fingers to move the sugar from the sides to the top, covering the gum completely. Then roll and press the gum, manipulating it until all of the sugar has been incorporated. The gum mixture will be stiff, but not overly sticky. Pull off a piece of gum about the size of a standard marble. Wipe the inside surface of the denture with a moist cloth and then stretch the gum to fit across it, pressing the edges of the gum into the curvature of the mouthpiece. Insert the denture and bite down, pressing it into place. This should hold your dentures in position for up to four hours. Any leftover gum should be wrapped in plastic cling film. It can be safely stored at room temperature for up to four weeks.
Dendrite's available in most drug stores. You mix parts A and B, and it lasts for weeks if you keep it clean. (This did not work for me...maybe I did it incorrect)
Yep, it's all over the Internet and along side this freebie is all the teeth, tooth paste ads, denture and all the dentist etc. and where to go to buy them, which I'd like to tell them w h e r e  t o  g o  t o o
Peanut Butter
Peanut butter can be a quick fix for some dentures. Spread 1 tbsp. of creamy organic peanut butter across the surface of your dentures and insert them into your mouth. Bite down and hold for 30 seconds to press the apparatus into place. Peanut butter can effectively hold your dentures in position for two to three hours, buying you enough time to get to the store to purchase another adhesive possibly at the local health food store or make the one above. Another site said to add some honey...W H A T ? (Look the recipe up yourself!) I'm tired...of hunting this down. lol

Why bother?

You know tomorrow I'm going to try (corn-starch or flour and water tomorrow. It worked in the cotton fields in Arizona. Cotton pickers were so poor they had no money for glue. So they made a paste of white flour and water to glued the tear made by going through too many of the prickly devils of the cotton bows. Now those were the good old days...lol
